"WONDERFUL APPLE PIES"

This was the opinion of all the lucky judges who sampled many delicious pies at the fair”. The pies were served from USF lunch trucks. Dr. Dubyak and his family of Dubyak Family Chiropractic on Geer Road organized this wonderful contest in conjunction with the County fair. Dr. Dubyak and his family donates $100.00 to the 1st place winner and $50.00 to the 2nd place winner. Thanks to all the contestants and judges and special thanks to Dubyak Family for a great event. Keep an eye out for the pumpkin pie contest coming this fall just before Thanksgiving.

FOOD DRIVE

The Stanislaus County Fair and their Board of Directors invited USF to collect canned food on opening night again this year at the fair gates. COLLECT THEY DID!! OVER 1,860 LBS of food for USF food programs. Thanks to all those people who helped provide food for the hungry in Stanislaus County. Thank you to all the volunteers that helped us collect the cans and pass out the $2.00 coupons and special thanks to the Modesto Bee who sponsored the first day of the fair to make this event.
