JANUARY 2006
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year

~THANKS TO YOU~

With the help of the Turlock Post Office, All Saints Catholic Church, Sacred Heart School Student Body and all the many individuals, groups and organizations that donated toys for children, we were able to distribute gifts to 170 children in Turlock and surrounding areas before Christmas.

In Hughson, with the help of the Hughson Community Christian Service Center, we were able to assist with distributing food baskets to 370 families living in the Hughson High School District.

This project, chaired by Cathee Vaughn and her group of dedicated elves, each year, collects food, toys, blankets, etc. for those less fortunate in the Hughson Area. St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Hughson graciously donates use of their large hall for this project.

Without the help of all these people, many would not have enjoyed as nice a Christmas as they did. Thanks to all who donated, collected, sorted, wrapped, and distributed all this Christmas Joy.

CHRISTMAS DINNER

Many thanks to all who helped with our Christmas Dinner. We had many generous donations of food, Christmas gifts and toys. We also had a wonderful turnout of volunteers at all three sites to help prepare and serve meals. We could not have served so many (1,696 meals!) without their help.

Christmas Dinners, which were served from our trucks on December 23rd, numbered as follows:

Turlock 388
Modesto 458
Ceres 364
Keyes   48
Hughson   91
Empire 214
Waterford 108
Denair   25
