URGENT! URGENT!
TRUCKS NEED NEW SHOES!

Flat tire

Our trucks are delivering so many meals it is time for us to buy them new shoes.  The cost is $150.00 per tire.  So if you can help please let us know.  Also one of our trucks lost a generator and we had to buy a new one costing $5000.00, so any help with this unexpected cost would help a great deal.

STORY OF HOPE

Brandon is from San Jose, California. During the years from 1989 to 2001 he spent 12 years in and out of prison.  He moved to Modesto when he was 30 and found himself on the streets because of losing his job and letting drugs take over his life. While homeless Brandon was hit with a crowbar and robbed.  He was flown to a hospital for brain surgery.  After his ordeal he came back to the area and met a girl named Katrina.  He started to turn his life around.  Brandon started coming to the homeless window at USF, helping out by cleaning the showers and tables here. Through USF he was referred to SSI.  USF also helped him get an ID and into a work program.  USF also helped him get an appointment with Corner of Hope to get him much needed medication for the seizures caused by his brain injury. Brandon asked Katrina to marry him and the wedding is set for sometime this year.  Brandon is currently clean and sober and employed.

Thank You! Thank You!

USF was the sponsored charity for the California State Racing Pigeon Organization put on by the Women’s Auxiliary.  With this great honor, Barbara Bawanan gave a speech about our organization.  We thank all of you for donating to our organization.  Special Groups like yours will help us help those in need.
