Stanislaus County, and to facilitate the provision of services to those people
to assist them in a transition to a better quality of life.

THANKS AND APPRECIATION!!

Thank you ALL!!!

It’s time again for us to thank all of our loyal supporters; those who help with their time and those who help with their check books.  We could not operate our clothes closets or operate our food pantry without the time spent by our volunteers for these two services.  Those of you, who help with the food preparation already know, we could not get the food prepared and on our trucks without your help.

Now for those of you who help with your checkbooks.  We really appreciate your continued support. We know your electricity bills have gone up because ours have almost tripled over the last few months and we know your other bills have gone up because ours have also gone up.  We are trying to watch all our expenses as closely as possible so we can stretch all of your donations.  We operate on a few grants but mostly we operate on the generosity of our supporters.  We could not provide the level of service we offer to our communities without each and every one of you.  Thank you very much for your continue support in these tough times.

A TIME FOR REMEMBERING

Many things have changed for our country during the past few years and many other things have remained unchanged.  Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with our military personnel doing their jobs to keep our country safe.

‘PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE”

501 individuals received 3 meals for 3 days via the Emergency Food Box Program. Because of your faithful support, 4,509 meals were provided during August 2006. You made it possible for USF Daily Bread Trucks to serve 29,825 meals in August 2006.

--- BACK TO SCHOOL ---

With school now open, we are asking for donations of backpacks for those children in need.  We have plenty of school supplies available. If you know of a child in need, please send them our way.
